Normally, our family enjoys a movie night on Fridays but with the more flexible summer schedule we watched the movie earlier in the week. So instead of lounging around the family room, we headed out to Bent Creek for a little hiking. It is so nice to have the outdoors so accessible to us. We've really enjoyed a lot of summer activities in the great outdoors: tubing down Davidson River, hiking in Bent Creek, and camping along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
